Road rage behaviours among road users in Turkey

One of the human-caused factors that decreases traffic safety is road rage behaviors. Many behaviors thought to be indicative are clearly intended aggressive. The purpose this study was examine frequency incidents experienced by users both as victims and perpetrators. Furthermore, goal investigate impact various other on in past year. questionnaire completed 633 individuals who agreed participate reside Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara. All participants were Turkish, aged 19–76 years (M = 37.84 years, SD 10.10); 57.3% females, 42.7% males. survey application started with ethical approval. Using snowball sampling method, a link or paper pencil forms distributed participants. Participants requested fill out form including information rage. Data analyzed using chi-square test binary logistic regression analysis. SPSS 28 program, all data statistically significance level p < 0.05. According our findings, low-level most common among users. For perpetration, rate 43.6%, while for victimization it 63.2%. Overall, results analysis suggest low high-levels perpetration may influenced driving vehicle, carrying weapon certain demographic like gender, age, education level, marital status.
